More sustainable housing

The Group's CSR strategic plan, "More Sustainable Housing", was launched in 2018 and is reviewed regularly, to accelerate the deployment of its sustainability policy. It is based on the following pillars: societal commitment, environmental ambition and non-financial communication with associated projects.

These projects have been implemented across all Group countries, each following their own timetable. The aim of this gradual roll-out of the projects, is to enable each entity to take ownership of the challenges at its own level, based on appropriate materiality and maturity criteria.

ESG Governance

Some key projects underlying Emeria's CSR philosophy

The Emeria group has integrated its CSR strategy into its business model, resulting in the implementation of new responsibilities within the Group's management and governance bodies.

The Emeria group has established a CSR Committee within its Supervisory Board. The Committee is responsible for reviewing the progress of the Group’s CSR strategy, setting the associated roadmap, and handling reporting.
The CEO of Emeria group (as permanent invitee) and three members of the Supervisory Board, two of whom are independent (as Committee members) – take part in the CSR Committee.

Under the supervision of Emeria’s Management, the CSR team leads the operational deployment of this strategy. It manages environmental and social initiatives, prepares non-financial reporting, and ensures the implementation of the CSRD directive. The Department also relies on a network of experts from the various business units and support functions, both in France and internationally.
