According to the Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 as it currently stands, and Regulation No. 2016-679 of April 2016 (GDPR), Emeria, acting as Data Processing Controller (hereinafter referred to as “Emeria” or “We”), is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) is designed to inform you about our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information that you may provide through this Site. The Policy aims to inform you about the categories of personal Data collected, how that Data is used, who it may be shared with, how we protect it, and your rights under current regulation.


1. The Data that is collected on this site.

By using the Site, you may transmit information that could identify you and therefore constitutes personal Data (the “Data”) as defined by GDPR. This is notably the case when creating an account or using services on the Site.

The Data collected on this Site is used in order to process your requests if needed. To access some services or features, additional Data may be required and subject to your explicit consent.

In any case, you may exercise your rights at any time, as detailed in section 8.

2.1 Enable you to access the required service.

2.2 Allow us to ensure and improve the functioning of our sites and services.

We use your Data to ensure our Sites are operational and to improve our services. This includes enhancing your user experience and identifying technical issues. This processing is based on our legitimate interest.

With your consent, we analyze how you use the Site to:

  • Understand your behavior and preferences (e.g. how you search for information or use services).
  • Improve the structure and presentation of offers and content on our sites and in our agencies.

4. Who are the recipients of the Data we collect and why do we share it?

  • Public authorities or legal entities when required by law or for protection against fraud or illegal use.

These parties only access necessary Data and are contractually bound to ensure its confidentiality and compliance.

5. How long do we store your Data?

Data is retained only as long as necessary. For instance:

  • Request-related Data is stored for the time needed to process your request and then archived per legal limits.
  • Technical Data is stored for thirteen (13) months, then archived for up to five (5) years.
  • Account-related Data is stored while the account is active, then archived for five (5) years.

At the end of these periods, Data is deleted.

6. Will your Data be transferred? If so, how, and where?

Your Data may be transferred outside the EU. When this occurs, we ensure:

  • Transfer to countries with an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
  • Use of standard contractual clauses validated by the European Commission.
  • Use of binding corporate rules approved by data protection authorities.
  • Or any other safeguard under Article 46 of GDPR.

7. How is your Data protected?

We take technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Keep your credentials confidential to prevent misuse.

8. What are your rights regarding your Data?

Under applicable laws, you have the right to:

  • Access and receive information on your Data.
  • Rectify inaccurate Data.
  • Request erasure of your Data (subject to legal exceptions).
  • Restrict processing in certain cases.
  • Receive your Data in a portable format.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest or direct marketing.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
  • Give instructions for your Data after your death.

9. Modification of our Policy
